Branch managers at Cowra Machinery Centre, McPhersons Parts and Services Parkes, Forbes Machinery Centre, South West Tractors, Temora Truck and Tractor, West Wyalong Machinery Centre, presented one New Holland pedal tractor with trailer and two New Holland push along tractors to the childcare centres.
"We are committed to giving back to the local community that has embraced our business during changing and challenging times," the branch manager's said.
"We do this by sponsoring local sporting teams and groups, donating products and toys, promotional gear to schools and community fund raising groups and sponsoring major events within the community including the local show.
"2020 has brought new challenges to the community with the uncertain times we've all had to face due to COVID-19 which we can imagine would be confusing and frustrating for little ones so we want to bring some fun times their way.
"Not only will these tractors offer endless hours of fun, build on their fine motor skills, but also get them excited about all the wonderful things about farming," they said.
AEH Central NSW dealer principal, David Thompson, said he hoped the tractors would bring joy to the children and staff at each centre as the toys contributed positive effects on fine motor skills.
"We are committed to supporting our local communities.
"It's been an unpredictable year so it's important to continue to support the local communities despite the setbacks of COVID-19. The local shows and major events in our towns getting cancelled prompt us to think outside the square and that is where donating toy tractors to our childcare centre's idea came to life.
"Our employees and our customers have young families that utilise childcare centres meaning we could not just choose one so we offered this donation to every registered centre in each of our towns.
"There is a total of 19 centres within the AEH Central NSW group and we have given away over 57 tractors in the past week including several to mobile children services units," he said.
Childcare centres to receive tractors include Carinya, Cowra; Cowra Early Childhood Mobile Service; Goodstart Cowra and Forbes; the Bland Shire Council; A Dragon's Tale, Temora; Annette's Place Young; Bright Beginnings Forbes and Temora; Community Kids, Parkes; Gumnut Grove Young; Learning Ladder, Young; Little Wattle, West Wyalong; Milestones, Young; Nurture One, Parkes and Parkes Early Childhood.
