The showground will receive $150,000 for 340 metres of connecting accessible pathways to allow walking and cycling between multiple sites within the showground precinct.
Member for Goulburn Wendy Tuckerman has announced six local showgrounds - Boorowa, Goulburn, Crookwell, Gunning, Moss Vale and Robertson - will share in $925,470 worth of improvement works.
Mrs Tuckerman said the showgrounds have been approved for a range of work to improve the safety, use and condition of their infrastructure and support jobs in the local economy.
"Our showgrounds play an important role at the heart of our communities so I welcome this further investment by the NSW Government," Mrs Tuckerman said.

"This investment by the NSW Government will provide a boost for our local showgrounds and the communities they serve by supporting tradies and suppliers with work and strengthening showground infrastructure for the future."
It follows the announcement last month of $430,196 in improvement works for showgrounds at Boorowa, Crookwell, Gunning, Moss Vale, Robertson, Moss Vale, Rye Park and Yass.
Latest upgrades to be funded in the local area will include:
- $25,742 for Crookwell Showground to install tiered seating in three areas
- $124,766 for Robertson Showground to repair and replace boundary fencing and resurface roadways in the showground
- $133,705 for Moss Vale Showground for upgrade work on horse stables and new kitchen and electrical and plumbing work on the martial arts shed
- $44,513 for Gunning Showground for repairs to its showground hall including guttering and roof repairs, sanding and sealing its floor, repointing brickwork, new awnings, electrical upgrades, and installing air-conditioners in the kitchen, side room and main room.
Goulburn Showground upgrades totalling $446,744 include:
- The purchase and installation of retractable basketball hoops and backboards on three multi-purpose indoor courts in the basketball stadium
- Remediation of the Gate 3 car park at Goulburn Recreation Area
- The purchase of five additional mobile tiered seating units for use in Veolia Arena.
Minister for Water, Property and Housing Melinda Pavey said the local showgrounds are among 153 across the state getting stimulus funding this financial year.
"The showground stimulus program is generating economic activity in local economies impacted by COVID-19 while supporting the long term sustainability of showgrounds right across NSW," Minister Pavey said.
"Showgrounds are community hubs and multi-use facilities and these projects will improve safety and enhance community enjoyment by providing upgraded facilities to support a range of uses."
The NSW Government has allocated a further $10.77 million to its showground stimulus program bringing the total to $35.77 million across the state.
$23.27 million is being allocated this financial year to support showground upgrades and a further $12.5 million will be spent next financial year.
