Congratulations to Rob Gorham for his first hole in one achieved on Boorowa's par three 13th hole on Saturday, June 20 while competing in Greg Atkins' Blue Metal Motel trophy, played as a par competition.
Kel Gorham won the trophy finishing square for his round with Graham Murray runner up on minus one and Roger Green third with minus two.
You couldn't get much nearer to the pin than Rob's hole in one, however three players had nearest to the pin shots and they were Rob Dunwoodie on the 8th, Roger Green on the 12th and, yet again, Rob Gorham on the 17th.
Michael Tuckerman's trophy was held on Saturday, June 13 with Danny Cassells taking Mick's trophy home with a score of 35 points.
That man again, Rob Gorham came second winning the ball comp.
Jim McGrath and James Beath had nearest to the pin shots on holes 4 and 13 respectively.
Next Saturday, June 27, golfers are scheduled to compete for the Richard Manning Trophy.
It's wonderful to see the course covered by golfers on Saturdays, since it was allowed to reopen after the lockdown, and this amount of support can help secure potential grants to further improve this great facility.
