With his wife and two friends, he brought food and blankets.
While the Op Shop does not handle food, the food donation will go to those who need it most through St Vincent de Paul and Food Bank in Young.
Vinod had read about the Boorowa Club's Op Shop venture in the publication "Rotary Downunder" and when Rockdale Rotary was given these supplies by Qantas, he immediately thought of helping Boorowa Op Shop.
Rockdale Rotary Club has also made a sizeable donation to Fiji, which has recently experienced a cyclone.
Vinod is currently the Chairperson of "There is Hope" Blanket Program.
Vinod has been invited to return to Boorowa any time he would like and to visit a Rotary meeting and see what Boorowa has to offer.
Boorowa Rotary is astounded by the generosity of The Rotary Club of Rockdale City's donation and thanks them most sincerely for thinking of country communities when making donations.
