Can Assist provides valuable assistance to cancer patients and their families with all those extra expenses which are incurred through the process of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.
Chief among such expenses are usually accommodation and transport which can be a drain on resources, and very worrying to those undergoing the stress of caring for a family member.

There is no means test for people receiving this support, who are usually referred to Can Assist by health professionals and others involved in their treatment.
The local Can Assist committee expect to be selling tickets in the raffle on March 26 and April 2, and are hoping for the usual generous support from the community.
