Boorowa won the toss and put together a healthy total of 5/199 in their allotted 40 overs. This was mainly due to Welsh import Aiden Stannard who played an exceptional knock of 72 to anchor the innings. He was well supported by veteran Stuart Gay with 51 and Vince Ryan who made a quick fire 31 not out.
Such a competitive score should have been enough, but after having Harden at 1/14, an excellent century to Nathan Schofield for Harden paved the way for the visitors to win by eight wickets, finishing on 2/202.
Schofield finished on 130 not out in a game-defining performance.
The Crocs, meanwhile, had a similar story to tell.
After they batted first and made a respectable 8/193, they couldn't contain the Murrumbatemen batting lineup, who passed the Crocs score with 6/196.
The pick of the Boorowa batsmen was Chris Dwyer with 37, Josh Carmody 36 and Mark Poplin 27, while the best of the Boorowa bowlers was Alex Blomfield with 3/28.
This weekend sees the Gators on the road again, travelling to O'Connor Park in Yass to take on the Yass Golf Club Taipans, while the Crocs return home to host the Yass Golf Club Cobras.
Remember if you want a game, training is at St. Josephs school nets at 5pm each Wednesday, or alternately, just contact the Courthouse Hotel who will put you in touch with the cricketers. You will get a game.
