The service will be held from 10.30am on Sunday, November 24.

Guest preacher will be Rev. Keith Robinson with a light lunch to follow.

Rev Robinson is the first appointment as a Region Minister in the Riverina Presbytery.

He was inducted in Cootamundra in November last year with seven churches in the Eastern Region, Boorowa, Cootamundra, Harden and Galong, Junee, Temora, Tumut and Young.

The Boorowa M. & D. Choir will provide a musical item during the celebrations.

The Uniting Church was given the name "The Little Brick Church" when the Wesleyan Church was built in Burrowa in 1869.

This building still stands today.

The church was built by James Preston at a cost of 320 pounds with an extra 10 pounds for plastering.

The addition of a "school hall" was built in 1937.

The Wesleyan (1869-1905), Methodist (1905-1977) and now Uniting Church congregations had been served by 24 ordained minister continually from 1869 to 1996.

Retired minister Rev. Ray Timms conducted Church Services for a short time.

At the present time Arnold Spackman is the church leader.

Rev. G. T. Morrison, father of James Morrison the renowned trumpeter, served the Boorowa community of the Methodist Church for a four year term from 1961.

The first marriage held in the church was that of John Morgan to Annie Matilda Pearsall by Rev. William Robson.

Baptisms were conducted and carry local well-known names such as Chudleigh, Malone, Armstrong, Riles, Morgan, Clements and Southwell.

Memorials have been presented to the church from the families of Gruber, Armstrong, Gay, Riles, Jarvis, Malone, and Southwell.

Changes in social attitudes has put pressure on attendance at all churches but despite this the "Little Brick Church" continues to open its doors for those who seek and for those who wish to strengthen their faith.
