Moruya trainer Natalie Jarvis teamed up with jockey Maddison Wright on Georgian Court ($5.00) to win the $5500 Delta Agribusiness & Incitec Pivot Burrangong Young Picnic Cup (1400m).
Wright timed her run to perfection as she edged out the rank outsider More Ransom ($16.00) by a half length to claim the Cup.
Doug Gorrell's $2.40 favourite Southern Gamble was not far away in third.
It was Georgian Court's first win since January and Jarvis was delighted to see the mare back in the winner's circle.
We thought we'd bring her [to] Picnic racing and see if we can revive her form a bit.

Jarvis praised jockey Maddy Wright who also rides track work for the team.
"Maddy [Wright] rides track work for us in the mornings so when we have the opportunity to go Picnic racing we like to go so Maddy can ride the horses.
"There's not a lot of Picnic racing around where we're based at Moruya, so this is one of of the closer ones; we thought we'd take the opportunity."
She said it was a thrill to see Georgian Court bounce back to her best.
"We've had for a little while now. She's won at Bega since we've got her. Her form had gone off a little a bit lately so we thought we'd bring her Picnic racing and see if we can revive her form a bit," Natalie Jarvis said.
"We're just thrilled that she did so good today. You never really know what's going to happen in Picnic racing sometimes they go fast from the start but Maddy just went with what happened and worked it out brilliantly."
The feature sprint, the $4000 McAlister Motors Open Trophy Handicap (1000m), was taken out by the Garry Kirkup-trained Original Prankster ($2.00), who was ridden by Ricky Blewitt.
Wright finished with the jockey's honours on a three, two, one point score system across each race.
Fashions on the Field was hugely popular at Saturday's Burrangong Picnic Races with each category filling with participants.
"It was an outstanding effort by the patrons," secretary of the Picnic Race club, Brenton Smyth said.
