Boorowa's Hospital Auxiliary are set to host their very popular Melbourne Cup lunch yet again this November to raise money for vital equipment at the hospital.
Boorowa Hospital Facility Manager, Cecelia Walsh has asked the Auxiliary to purchase two Mobile Air Chairs and two lift swings for the patients.
The Auxiliary agreed readily to the request.
The air chairs have adjustable foam matrix, they are side transfer compatible and come with reclining and tilt facilities.
The handy lift swings are a stress free way to transfer patients from one place to another.
The Auxiliary is holding their Melbourne Cup Lunch on Tuesday, November 5 at 11.30am for 12pm for $25 per head at the Boorowa Ex Services Club, where a complimentary drink on arrival and a very tasty lunch will be served.
Sweeps, Lucky Door Prize and fun Fashions on the Field will be held.
Single tickets or table bookings can be booked at Carmody's Newsagency on 6385 3074 or Boorowa Ex-Services Club on 6385 3338 by Friday, November 1.
All money raised on the day will go towards the purchase of this state of the art equipment.
