Along with performing traditional pieces, Mel and Susie also write and perform their own humourous and serious verse.
"We believe that writing and performing poetry stimulates imagination and can help improve self-esteem and self confidence," they said.
They have worked in schools in every state and territory, performing whole of school concerts or class tuition.
"Our approach to school sessions is tell, show and have students do," they said.
Mel and Susie will be visiting 15 Hilltops primary schools, including Boorowa Central School, St Joseph's and Rye Park, between Monday, October 21 and November 1.
They will also be performing at the Boorowa Ex-Services Club on Saturday, October 26 at 7pm.
Cost $10.
