Events will start at 11am, with mild but clear conditions across the day, and competitors will take aim at 150 targets across the event schedule.
The first event of the day is the 50 Target Double Barrel Championship, which is sponsored by South West Shooting Supplies and offers an overall prize in addition to first and second place awards for AA, A, B and C Grade.
Following that will be the 30 Target Handicap, which will be sponsored by M.G. Campbell Grain Silos, with prizes provided for first, second and third place getters.
The final event of the afternoon is the 30 Target Point Score, sponsored by David and Peta's IGA, with prizes for overall honours plus the first two place getters in the AA, A, B and C Grades.
The action then transitions into the evening from there, with a 10 Target Eye Opener Point Score Cash Divide getting things underway.
The night will then conclude with the 30 Target Boorowa Bendigo Bank PS Championship, sponsored by NIOA Trading. An overall prize will again be presented, with first to third placed shooters across AA to C Grade to be awarded prizes for their efforts.
AA, A, B, C, Women, Junior and Veteran graded shooters will all be able to take part in the day, with entry costing $100 for open grade competitors and $60 for women, veterans and juniors.
All competitors are required to bring their firearm license and handicap book, with all guns and ammunition to be locked away while not in use.
The Boorowa Gun Club has been particularly busy over the last month, with works and upgrades to their shooting field facilities recently documented in a Facebook post last Friday.
Saturday's event is the first club-run competition to be held at the venue since August's monthly meet.
After this week's shoot, there will be four events left for the year, with the next shoot to take place on October 26, with a 50 Target Handicap and 50 Target Double Barrel Championship scheduled for the day, which as usual, starts at 11am.
