Held in Boorowa's iconic Old Court House, the show, which attracts prominent artists from around the region, as well as local contributors, will be officially opened by the Hilltops Mayor, Councillor Brian Ingram at a cocktail party on Friday, October 4, commencing at 6.30pm.
All paintings in the exhibition will be for sale, but will not be available for collection until the closure of the Show on the Monday afternoon.
Chief organiser of the exhibition, Tina Merriman, said this week that there would be eight guest artists represented this year.
They include Mary Barrett from Wollongong, Lea Buckmaster from the Mullion, Karin Cutler from Sydney, Libby Hobbs from 'Rose Bay to Yass, Boorowa, Bungendore and Gunning,' Harriet Mort from Adelaide, Robert Newman from Cootamundra, Susie Rae from Narromine and Denise Scholz-Wulfing from Sydney and Boorowa.
The show has attracted the interest of artists, aspiring artists, those who appreciate art, and others who just know what they like.
Tina is hoping that locals and visitors will bring their friends to enjoy the art and the socialising at the opening event, and throughout the various stages of the exhibition over the Woolfest weekend.
Proceeds from the Art Show will this year be applied by the St John's Parish Council to the urgent restoration work required on historic stained glass windows of St John's Church.

These priceless windows are now showing signs of age, and it is planned to employ a noted stained glass craftsman to undertake the precise task of removal, complete restoration and replacement.
The whole operation is a costly undertaking, and the Parish Council will be seeking grants, appealing for donations and also raising funds to allow the project to proceed.
First stage of the project will be the two windows on the northern aspect of the church, and it is hoped to begin the work of restoration in February 2020.
