When are the cherries in bloom?
That's the question on the lips of many who have called in to Hilltops Visitor Centres in the past week.
With the official declaration of Spring imminent, repeat visitors are seeking the unforgettable views around Young and Wombat when orchards bud up and the trees transform to a mass of pastel blossoms.
First-time visitors are keen to witness the display too.
There's also interest in the wonderful patchwork green and yellow vistas created by our crop rotations.
Spring Events
This year Hilltops have official wine and food events over four consecutive days in September, each in different locations.

The September wine and food events are big drawcards and offer a variety of settings.
This extended weekend also includes the fabulous Cherry Blossom Long Lazy Lunch, traditionally held in a mystery orchard location amid flowering cherry trees.
Have you booked yet?
The September Hilltops food and wine events start with a wine show dinner in Murrumburrah.
This is followed by a food feast in Jugiong, a regional farmers market, foodies night market outside Young and culminates in the long lazy lunch on the Sunday.
Make sure you take part.
