There are Australia wide activities being hosted in the region this month with the National Camellia Show at the Uniting Church Hall and the unveiling of a sculpture in Harden. This Lt. Col Kenneth Mackay sculpture not only has national significance but is an important part of Australia's military history.
Trivia at Boorowa
Who doesn't enjoy testing the grey cells with a trivia event? This Sunday there's an event in Boorowa to raise funds for Burrowa House at the Boorowa Ex-Services Club.
Markets
There are three markets in the Hilltops region remaining for the rest of August. These include the Boorowa Makers and Growers Market on August 25, and the Koorawatha Markets and Young and Region Farmers Market on August 31.
Congratulations
Congratulations to the local business that won the 2019 Supporters Draw competition, part of the Sponsorship program for the National Cherry Festival.
Jennifer Galvin Skin Therapy was selected as the winner this year, live on radio on Friday August 16.

- August 30 - "My Fair Lady" Young Theatre Company production starts at Catherine McAuley Hall. Night performances on 30th, 31st, 5th, 6th and 7th. Matinee 1st September. Bookings M&M's Music Studio from 12th August.
- August 31 - Unveiling of a life-size sculpture of Lt.Col. Kenneth Mackay at the Lt. Horse Memorial Murrumburrah NSW, 11am.
