This year's Rye Park Boorowa Red Cross Branch AGM was held in the home of Robyn Shean and was attended by Zone 19 Representative, Noeline Hazell, nine members and two guests.
As President Barb Kessler wasn't able to attend, Vice President, Lorraine Veness chaired the meeting and after welcoming everyone, read out the President's Report.
"At this date we have 10 members, eight of whom are active and average attendance at meetings is seven.
In September and October 2018, our branch catered for three local ram sales - Tara Park, Merrignee and Koonwarra and along with the generous donations made by the stud owners, made a total of $1433.
Zone Representative, Noeline joined our branch members for our annual Christmas Lunch in December.
In February, Rosemary Miller and myself attended the Zone Executive Meeting at Gundagai and in March our branch collected for "Red Cross Calling" and through the generosity of the local people raised $1105.
In May, Ann Pearsall, Rosemary Miller and myself attended the Zone 19 Annual Conference hosted by the Junee Illabo Branch at Junee.
Two of our members, Lorraine Veness and Joan George, regularly attended throughout the year, training Days for Emergency Services.

In August our branch is holding a Father's Day Raffle with the proceeds going towards the purchase and installation of defibrillators (AEDs) in five business houses in Boorowa.
Finally our branch's Honour Stamp for 2018/2019 is $5727 - a great effort for a small town."
