Friday, July 19 is the date for the opening of the new Harden Murrumburrah Visitor Information Centre and members of the Hilltops community are invited to attend and inspect the premises. It's been a long wait for a Harden Murrumburrah visitor centre and there is widespread delight that the dream is now a reality. The centre is in the former History Hall in Murrumburrah and features a vivid roof mural and streamlined interior.
Gala 70th Jubilee Ball
A Black and Gold Ball is planned as part of the National Cherry Festival 70th Jubilee on November 9. The National Cherry Festival Committee is inviting all past and present Cherry/Charity Kings and Queens to return for a night of glamour. Secure your tickets from July 1 on Eventbrite or at Young Visitor Information Centre.
Song Festival
Everybody can sing, and the Young Regional School of Music is on a mission to prove it. So much is happening over the Soyawanna weekend starting with two performances of Beauty and the Beast Jr at Catherine Macauley Hall from 6pm on Friday July 5 and 11am Saturday July 6.
There's a Black -Tie Dinner with the renowned Helix Barbershop Quartet at Clifton Gardens, celebrating YRSM's 35th anniversary, and for those who haven't discovered their voices yet there'll be Pub Singing at the Commercial Hotel from 6:30pm on Saturday July 6.
New Fresh Look
The 23rd Boorowa Irish Woolfest is fast approaching and this year there has been a big shift in the style of promotional material for the major Hilltops event. A pastel tone and stylised sheep inject a fresh look to the event, famed for the iconic running of the sheep, to take place on October 6 in 2019.
Rustic Maze
The Rustic Maze and Country Garden has closed for the winter months, though groups of 12 and above can book visits with Jane Costello on 0429 834 217.

June 28 - Take 5 on Friday with Stewart Davis and friends from Sydney's "Big Merino" band, with thanks to the Young Regional School of Music. Held from 12.30pm -1pm, free, all welcome.
