Young Library is holding a Welcome to New Residents and Open Day this Saturday and both new and existing residents are invited to attend.

The day will serve as an opportunity to greet new residents to the region and to show them the services offered at the Hilltops library in Young.
It's also a chance for existing residents and borrowers to connect with their library and update themselves on the services and facilities available.
This event will be held over two hours from 10am 12noon tomorrow, Saturday June 1.

New Exhibition
Young Society of Artists has a new exhibition on show at the Burrangong Art Gallery in the Young Visitor Information Centre.
Theme for the new exhibition is Autumn and it features mixed medium works of society members.
The exhibition is open seven days and is free.
Come along and enjoy the variety of talented artists in Hilltops region.
Subject matter ranges from autumn leaves, fowls, flowers, fruit and stylised and realistic landscapes.
Poultry Club Show
Chooks, ducks, geese, turkeys - you name it everyone seems to have their favourite fowl.
To see some of the best examples in the region attend the Young Poultry Club Show to be held this Sunday at Young Showground from 8am.
Entries from across southern NSW are expected and entry is by donation.
There are many opportunities to enjoy refreshments on the ground with morning and afternoon tea and barbecue lunch available.
June Markets
This month Koorawatha village in the north of Hilltops joins other shire centres to offer regular markets days.
The Koorawatha markets are being held on the fifth Saturday of the month, starting on Saturday June 29.
Other markets scheduled in Hilltops for June include the Young & Region Farmers Market in Anderson Park Young this Saturday and on June 15 and June 29, the Uniting Church Monthly Markets in Lynch Street Young on Saturday June 8, the Handmade in Harden Murrumburrah community markets at Murrumburrah Courthouse on Sunday June 16 and the Boorowa Makers & Growers Market at the Old Court House Grounds in Marsden Street Boorowa on Saturday June 22.
Writer's Workshop
The Lambing Flat Fellowship of Australian Writers plans another writers' festival next month.
Topic of the workshop is writing memoirs, and the session will be conducted by Kerry Chater.
The workshop will be held on June 22 and 23.
