"Both at home and in hospitals, falls is a major concern. Those who are frail, older and sick are at more risk for a fall," Acting Facility Manager Jocelyn Piper said.
"At Boorowa MPS we have put a lot of effort into making sure the spaces are open and trip risks are removed and we also place importance on safe movement.
"I congratulate all staff on achieving this result which puts patient care at the forefront," Ms Piper said.
Boorowa MPS is also well recognised in the District for its hospital-cooked food and friendly and compassionate care.
The nursing staff are continually improving their skills, recently completing intensive simulated training for emergencies.
In other improvements, the facility is currently having solar panels installed on the main building, due for completion at the end of this month.
The MPS is also expanding its telehealth service which links the facility to specialist medical advice.
