After a month punctuated by holidays, a heavy loss and last weekends bye, the Rovers will be looking to get back to the winner's circle when they take on Boomanulla at the Boorowa Showground this Saturday. Boorowa has had just the three games so far for two wins and a loss a fortnight ago to Bungendore. A win this weekend will be crucial as they head away on a couple of tough road trips in coming weeks.

In results from last weekend, Harden 40 beat Boomanulla 10, Crookwell 62 hammered Gunning 0, North Canberra 28 downed Binalong 6 and Bungendore 52 made light work of UC Grizzlies 6.
Other games in the George Tooke Shield this week see Binalong take on Crookwell, Bungendore play Gunning, UC Grizzlies are at home against North Canberra whilst Harden have the bye.
In the league tag, the Roverettes also enjoyed the bye last week and will get another bye this weekend.
In the Under 19's, it was disappointing that last week the side had to forfeit to Woden Valley after a promising start to the season. Any players keen for a run are asked to contact the Boorowa or Harden league clubs. This week they will have a bye which may be a good chance to regroup.
Meanwhile the under 16's continued to make their mark on the Canberra competition with an outstanding 44-18 win over Tuggeranong at Harden last Friday night. This team is relishing Friday night football and is gathering good local support. The boys travel to Raiders in Kippax tonight to take on West Belconnen Gold at 7.15pm.
If you haven't been up to check out the new facility at the Showground yet, why not get up to the Showground this Saturday at 2pm and support your mighty Rovers.
