Fifteen ladies travelled by bus from Bateman's Bay to the festival, but not before enjoying a counter lunch at the Courthouse Hotel.
One of the ladies on the bus, Dianne West, said the trip was in part to celebrate her 60th birthday and the stop in Boorowa gave her the opportunity to catch up with her mother, Joyce Gruetzner. She said the trip gave her the opportunity to catch up with lifelong friends.
"Most did not know each other. My oldest friend Deb from Leppington whom I met at the age of eight, my West Wyalong High school friend Lucy, who I also shared a flat with in the 1970s to current and ex-employees of my business Stitches in Batemans Bay," she said.
After the nine-and-a-half hour bus trip, the group set up camp in Trundle and had a great time.
"It was a fabulous day and we would recommend the event to anyone," Dianne said.
The group would like to thank the Courthouse Hotel for their hospitality.
