In the medium wool section at the 2019 Royal Easter Show, the grand champion ram exhibited by Mick Corkhill, Grassy Creek, Reids Flat was described by judge Russell Jones, Darriwell stud, Trundle as having outstanding structure.
"He is a very square ram, is wide and stands well with a deep and long body carrying a very heavy fleece," he said.
The reserve grand champion was exhibited by Gary and Donna Kopp, Towonga, Peak Hill.
It had been successful in the six teeth and over class.
The grand champion ewe successful in the March-shorn two tooth class was exhibited by Jim and Caroline Darmody, Wantana Hills, Boorowa.
Mr Jones thought the ewe was exemplary for it's overall balance and outlook.
"She is very well covered with a long stapled fleece with deep crimp ... a real bale filler," he said.
