Starting slowly after being sent into the field, Josh Carmody’s 7-65, bowled across 18 overs, was crucial in bringing Cowra back into contention, with debutant Emerson Baratto providing crucial support with 2-14 from six overs.
While Carmody’s bowling brought the home side to the brink of collapse at 9/133, Parkes’ Brent Tucker and Jack Barker were able to regroup, putting a crucial 36 run partnership that ultimately proved the difference between the two sides.
Chasing a total of 169, Josh Carmody’s batting was quickly called upon, after all-rounder Scott Wilson was dismissed in the first over, edging a ball to slip.

Jacob Carmody also failed to impact, falling for a duck to Brent Tucker, who took 5-24 in what was close to a man of the match display.
