Chief Steward, Angus Coles conceded that the tough season had affected the number of entries for the competition with many graziers deciding that early weaning was in the best interests of their animals and business management.
But the competition will be held regardless, and will no doubt prove to be the usual entertaining and informative day out.
Herds will be judged by Doug Tozer, Onslow Stud of Wallendbeen and Harry White of Coffin Creek Angus Stud.
A coach will leave from Boorowa early on the day of judging and a barbecue lunch will be available.
After the day’s judging, there will be a presentation at the Top Pub on Friday evening.
Please join us for a great day out.
It’s not too late to enter your herd of cows/calves or heifers either!
Please call Angus Coles (mob: 0429 452 204) to enter, or to book your spot on the bus for the day.
