Thanks to all the entrants the raffle raised in excess of $2000.
First prize was won by Rick Keefe, second Prize went to Bob Berry, Dee Jackson from Canberra was the lucky winner of third prize and fourth prize was won by Lachlan McGuiness.
After the drawing of the Raffle David Dwyer presented President Lydia Sheridan with a surprise donation of a cheque for $800 from an IGA Community Chest Fund.
This generous support from all the ticket buyers and the IGA is very much appreciated.
All the money raised will go towards the refurbishing of the Nurses’ Home.
This makeover will give up to date accommodation to much needed agency nurses.
In its current condition, the accommodation is not up to today’s standards, enough to attract nurses to work in our hospital
Well done to all the auxiliary members.
