Archie, who opened the batting, hit 103 off 29 overs including 17 boundaries, an enormous effort in 35 degree weather.
His batting was something to behold, with a steady pace early until he reached 50.
He then unleashed on the West Wyalong attack with a flurry of boundaries.
This set the home side up for a huge total of 198 off their 32 overs.

Nick Canellis batted great as well with a handy 23.
Will Rowan got run out trying to score quickly for 3.
Ella Cross turned the strike over very well for Archie until he fell then she got run out for 7.
Joe Roberts got stumped on 5 and Josh Cameron ran out of overs, seeing the ball well and hitting 14 not out including 3 boundaries.
West Wyalong came out hard, which they needed to do, chasing such a big total and looked set to give it a shake until Hamish Hall took the big scalp of their opening batsman.
Hamish finished with the amazing figures of 3/7.
Josh Cameron bowled well, taking 2/9 and of course the day wouldn’t be complete until Archie Gay took 2 wickets as well.
Other wicket takers were Trent Shean, Will Rowan and Dom Cusack with 1 each.
The whole team performed well and should all be very proud of themselves, their improvement from the first game has been amazing.
We have a squad of 15 and a few have to miss out each game but their dedication at training will set them up in the future to be great cricketers.
