The Hilltops region has enjoyed two very successful festivals at Boorowa and Harden and there are more 2018 events still to come.
The Sgt Parry Memorial Day at Jugiong will be held soon on November 3 and the combined Cherry Chase, Chase the Colour Run will be staged on November 18, with options to run five or 10 kms, or the colour run. Sign up on the Cherry Chase website.
Festival Programs
The Woolworths National Cherry Festival is approaching rapidly with the cherry harvest not long off and the festival to be held on November 30, December 1 and 2.

Author Talks
Author talks continuing this month at Hilltops Library branches. With ABC court reporter Jamelle Wells presenting an excellent talk last week, there are Bernadette Sutherland and Julie Ankers in the region to discuss their latest works too. RSVP’s required.
Open Gardens
The “Old Graham” garden on Frogmore Road will be open this weekend, while the Succulent Garden on Normans Road will also open this Friday and Saturday. These is a fundraising component to both activities.
Art Exhibitions
Those who enjoy art are invited to attend exhibitions in Young and Harden at the weekend.
At Harden the 26th Annual Festival of Art Exhibition and Sale is open at the Old Court House Murrumburrah on Saturday and Sunday.
The Young Society of Artists exhibition “Scenes from An Ordinary Life” will close and soon makes way for an exhibition from Cowra artist Anne Morton.
