A great day of golf, socialising and wonderful barbecue was enjoyed by men and lady golfers who participated in the Boorowa Woolfest golf day on Saturday, September 22.

Everyone who attended appreciated the effort by the Rec Club and Golf Club ensuring a successful event.
The winning lady with net 68 was Del Greig with Kate Crisp runner up on net 69 followed by Frances Brewer with net 70.
Andrew Mcgrath won the men's competition with net 58 just ahead of Richard Hall on net 59 while Anthony Greig filled third place on net 61.
Three golfers had nearest to the pin positions and were Leanne Farrell, Troy Hall and Del Greig. Congratulations to all prize winners.
Greg Atkins' trophy was played on Sunday, September 23 with some novelty quirks regarding the playing format.
Phil Johnston won Greg's trophy with Danny Cassells runner up and Robert Dunwoodie ball comp winner.
Next Saturday, September 29 golfers will play for a club trophy with tee off time at 10am as time will be needed later to prepare for the huge fireworks display to be held on the course that night.
On the weekend of October 6 and October 7 the Boorowa Open golf tournament is scheduled with an 18 hole mixed medley on Saturday and a 27 hole men's competition on Sunday with a 11am nomination time for a 11.30am start.
