Operating in conjunction with the Murrumbidgee Local Health District and the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network, the LHAC provides a link back to the Boorowa Community, providing information on matters affecting the community’s health.
The LHAC is a way for the Boorowa Community, to voice their opinions on what matters to them and their families as it relates to any health issue.
The Murrumbidgee Local Health District provides information to be passed onto the Boorowa Community.
The LHAC reviews and gets the opportunity to comment on material which is to be provided to the community, to ensure the information meets our needs.
The Boorowa LHAC is a key link for Health matters for our town.
Applications are therefore invited from the Boorowa Community to join the LHAC Team. Applications can be acquired at the Boorowa Hospital.
As part of this process some checks are performed such as the National Criminal Record Check.
Applicants will also be required to sign an agreement to abide by the Local Health District’s Confidentiality Agreement and the NSW Health Code of Conduct. Personal information is protected.
If you wish to find out more detail, please come up to the hospital and speak with the facility manager Jocelyn Piper or arrange a time to speak with the Boorowa LHAC Chair Angus Mitchell.
In closing, the Boorowa LHAC would like to thank the Boorowa News for allocating space in the local paper to enable us to promote Health issues to the community.
