Local bowler Brett Stanford travelled to Ulladulla last week to compete in the Multi Disability state bowling championships.

Run annually by Wheechair Sports he played seven singles and four pairs games over five days.

He was very well looked after during the week by carer Julianne Duffey.
In the singles championships he placed fourth out of eight which was a great achievement.

The tournament attracted disabled bowlers from Singapore who used the competition to obtain much needed practice before the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.
He was also asked to plat a social game during the week with the Ulladulla locals.
