Their choristers will be showcasing a repertoire consisting of music across many genres.
Hilltops Choir performs under the baton of the very versatile Canberra-based musical director Rodney Clancy, together with the well-known Harden accompanist Stewart Bruce.
On this occasion, local pianist John Willems will open the concert with a short selection of classical items.
Stewart will also perform as soloist with two interesting Australian compositions, giving our choristers’ voices a break in their program.
Following the concert, everyone is invited to afternoon tea provided by choir members.
Cost at the door (concert and afternoon tea) will be $15 adults, $10 concession and $5 children/students.
The 40-strong Hilltops Choir, based in Young, includes members from surrounding towns including Grenfell and rehearses weekly during school term time.
We are always looking for new members.
For enquiries, please contact our secretary Tracey Clark on 0418 672 622.
Better still, make yourself known at the concert!
