Whilst the local league teams may have had a bye last weekend, the Rovers executive have been hard at work to spread the tentacles of the club far and wide.

In major local league developments, the Rovers are pleased to announce that a partnership has been struck with the Bath Rugby League association in Great Britain that will broaden the horizons of both associations.
It will enable both organisations the opportunity to exchange ideas and promote rugby league in both areas utilising one another’s business plans.
The collaboration will also lead to international exposure for their players and in particular both organisations sponsors.
The possibilities are endless and this is a great initiative that allows the Rovers to become more progressive in future years.
The Rovers committee, led by club President Stuart Gay believe that in an age where many associations and individual clubs are struggling to survive, being innovative with the development of outside partnerships is crucial for survival.
Meanwhile, the Rovers and Roverettes have been busy preparing for two very important contests this weekend when fierce rivals Harden come to town.
Mathematically, Boorowa could still make third spot, but a loss to Harden would end those aspirations.
More importantly, a win would wrap up a semi final spot for Boorowa who are still in a strong position to play in the semis regardless.
Harden will start favourites despite coming off a loss to Crookwell last week.
The Rovers should grow an extra leg on the back of home ground advantage.
One thing the Rovers must do is control the football if they are a real chance this weekend.
Recent matches have seen horrendous error rates that have crippled the locals attack.
If they play to their ability, the Rovers are still contenders in the competition but with the semis rapidly approaching, their form must improve leading into the pointy end of the season.
After their massive win last start against Bungendore, the Roverettes face another huge task against competition from runners, the Harden Hawkettes who are currently unbeaten.
That won’t worry the Boorowa side who have developed tremendous self belief and are a dangerous proposition for any team.
The battle for semi final spots in the League Tag is fierce going into the last four rounds with only Harden and Crookwell assured of finals births.
The Roverettes are in a battle with four other teams for the remaining three spots and like the Rovers, will be bolstered by the home ground advantage.
With a dry cool day predicted, the Rovers maybe able to play a more expansive game of footy and control possession.
This will be a great game as will the Roverettes, so hopefully a big crowd will be on hand for the local derby.
The Roverettes will kick off at 1.20pm whilst the Rovers commence at 2.30pm.
The Youth league lads head to Greenway on Saturday to play an early game at 10.00am against the Tuggeranong Bushrangers.
It’s going to be a massive two months ahead for our three teams so why not be a part of it and head to the Showground on Saturday and support your local teams.
See you there.
