Member for Goulburn, Pru Goward MP, held a pop-up electorial office at the Superb Bakery on Monday morning to find out about the concerns of Boorowa residents.

Ms Goward said there were a range of issues brought to her attention including the Hilltops Council Merger, Local Land Services (LLS) and health concerns over sending patients to Wagga rather than Canberra.
“I think people are still settling down from the Council merger, I think there is still a little bit of concern still about the LLS,” Ms Goward said.
“Of course health, making sure we have proper access here, we fixed that issue with Wagga versus Canberra, children will definitely go to Canberra.”
The pop-up office follows a street stall Ms Goward held last weekend, where she spoke about the various funding opportunities for residents and organisations.
“People were very interested in the Active Kids Rebate and we are now extending it to the Creative Kids Rebate so that’s starts towards the end of the year,” she said.
Ms Goward also raised concerns about the need for more transport options and funding for water in Boorowa.
“I’d love to see a petition, I would love to encourage the community to get behind that because otherwise you can’t survive here without a car or community transport, there aren't many options.”
