‘We have been watching the water supply level very closely, particularly following the dry few months we’ve had,” Hilltops Mayor, Councillor Brian Ingram said.
“Thankfully the Hilltops Region received some much-needed rain in recent weeks – including in the catchment areas – so the weir pool water level has risen, meaning Council is now in a position to be able to lift the restrictions in Boorowa. We will continue to monitor the situation carefully to ensure the ongoing management of water requirements for Boorowa residents.”
Despite water restrictions being lifted, residents across the Hilltops Region are asked to continue be mindful of their water usage and are encouraged to do all they can to be water wise.
