Last Thursday night saw the first round of graded darts games played with some top class throwing from all the grades. With each team now playing for their respective championships, the competition is now even hotter.

In the A Grade Competition:
Top Pub Guinness hosted Rec Blue with Rec Blue winning 5/2.
Rod Neeson starred with ten hundred scores including two maximum 180's on the night.
Steve Makings scored Four tons whilst Colin Death score Three hundreds
For the Guinness Dennis Watson scored four hundreds and Phil Coggins scored three hundreds.
Rec Gold hosted the Ramz with the Ramz winning 5/2. A highlight was eight ton plus scores to Josh Carmody.For the Rec Gold ,Rick Bennett scored three hundred scores, two by Phil Johnston and one by Andrew McGrath.
In the B Grade Competition:
Top Pub Leprechauns hosted the Top Pub Whisky Business and the Whisky won a tight match by 4/3.
Three tons to the Whisky's Pete Bell, two to Stace Brown and one to Sam Collier were highlights. For the Leprechauns, David Apps threw three hundreds.
The Ex Services RSL hosted the Top Pub Shamrocks with the Shamrocks winning 5/2.
Single hundred scores to the Top Pubs Mike Ward, Deb Cotter and Neil Turner, and single tons to the RSL's Vanessa Hawley, Robyn Armour and Darrell Armour.
In the C Grade Competition:
The Mad Ramz hosted the Top Pub Jameson’s with the Jameson’s winning 4/3.
A hundred score to Lance Rufford Sharpe (SHARPIE) along with a 42 pegout and a hundred to Mad Ramz, Ray Poplin.
In the other match the Courthouse forfeited to the Top Pub Shenanigans.
This Thursday night, 5th July is the last Thursday before the competition breaks for the School holidays. Regular competition games will resume July 26 so please check your draw.
Just a Last reminder to everyone who is participating in the Mixed Doubles competition on the first Thursday of the School holidays July 12. We hope to see you at the Ex-Services club where play will commence at 7pm. This night is a Charity Fundraiser night for Burrowa House and an entry fee of $5 per player to enter will be collected on the night for this worthy organisation.
