Ads in the paper included one to allow Boorowa residents to listen to test cricket on the radio, with Lawrence and Hodgson of Marsden Street, Boorowa offering to arrange free at-home demonstrations of World Range Radiolas. 

There was also an obituary for a Mr John Randall of Binalong and a letter to the editor in regards to the oldest family in the region – the Poplins.
