The undefeated RAMZ hosted the Top Pub Guinness in the fight to stay unbeaten during the first 13 rounds.
Unfortunately for the RAMZ the Guinness spoiled the party as the Top Pub side defeated the hosts 5/2, with three hundred scores from Dennis Watson with a 140 high, two from Lester Murphy (100,125) and the same from Phil Coggins (140,121).
The RAMZ aimed up well though with good darts including hundred plus scores from Vince Leslie with a 138 top score and supported with one hundred score by Ross Hignett.
With this result the top three teams were equal on points after the home and away rounds.
The Rec Club Gold hosted the Ex Services 26's with the Gold too good on the night for the Jet setting 26's winning 5/2.
Mick Farrell had a nice 71 peg out and a 125 score by Andrew McGrath were highlights for the Gold.
Due to overseas commitments the 26's have asked not to be graded as they said it would unfair on their future opponents.
But don’t worry the fun loving team will be back next year to play.
The Top Pub Whisky Business hosted the Top Pub Leprechauns, and in a final match decider the Whisky ran out winners 4/3.
Whisky flew out of the boxes winning the teams and doubles, but the Leprechauns fought back with the next three single games.
In the decider, the Whisky just got home.
Great darts by Alex McClung with a 52 in two dart peg out and hundred scores to Stace Brown (Tess) 100 and Sam Collier 101.
For the Leprechauns, Pat Beadman had a 121.
The Ex Services RSL side hosted the Top Pub Shamrocks and in another tight match the RSL won 4/3. Darrell Armour, 54 peg out.
Alex Fox of the Shamrocks beat Darrell Armour in the singles in only her second competitive night of darts, well done Alex.
The Top Pub Jameson’s hosted the Rec Club Blue, with the Rec Blue too good with a 6/1 win.
Great darts by Rod Neeson shooting his third 180 score for the year and another four hundred plus scores of 140, 137, 125 and 117.
He was well supported by teammate Colin Death with three hundred scores, whilst two hundreds to Steve Makings 135, 100 and a nice 112 to Lyn Chapman rounded off a solid night for the competitions in form team.
Lance Rufford Sharpe showed good form taking a game off the blue in the singles to save the whitewash.
Lance has been a consistently good performer for several seasons.
The Top Pub Shenanigans hosted the Ram and Stallion Mad Ramz with the Mad Ramz winning 5/2.
This was their third win in a row after a slow start but they are running hot now.
Ray Poplin was in good form with a 114.
In the final game the Top Pub FitzRyans received a forfeit from the Courthouse.
