Anthony Bell: A great win two years ago resulted in close attention from the steward’s since, to ensure there is no repeat of the Fine Cotton affair.
Rick Bennett: Always out of the blocks quickly but will find the distance a challenge.
Daniel Bush: The steward will be looking at his eligibility and could find a case for concern due to excessive work.
Jeff Cassidy: A popular winner last year and will be hard to beat.
Robert Dunwoodie: Won't make the distance. His mind may be willing but not so much the body.
Tim Good: Has improved with the release to finer pasture. Could be a big dark horse this year.
Phil Johnston: Obsessed with the small white ball. Will be going all out to win this year before it is too late.
Andrew McGrath: Described recently as a gentleman of the game, don't know by whom. More settled with life and could be a threat.
Roger Mason: Has been improving of late and could be a serious contender.
Anthony Greig: Will find the distance a challenge but will take said challenge and promise the world.
Josh Greig: A real contender. Hits a long ball and if he gets his putter working will be hard to beat.
Roger Shean: Could find the conditions difficult. Will be safer to bet on another runner.
Garry Sheppard: Last week's winner is hitting his straps at the right time and could be one to watch.
