Rec Gold 5 beat Top Pub Jameson’s 2 to continue their good form early with Rick Bennett hitting two tons for the Gold.
Top Pub FitzRyans 5 beat Top Pub Whisky Business 2 with Tony Harvey scoring 134 for the Ryan’s and Sam Collier 128 for the Jameson’s.
Top Pub Leprechauns beat the Mad Rams 5-2 with Dane Thoroughgood looking impressive with two tons and a 59 Peg Out.
Top Pub Shamrocks 5 beat Ex-Services 26’s 2 with Grant Wales jagging a 119 for the club and Mike Ward a ton in two darts for the Top. Not sure where the third dart landed, probably still in the wall Mike.
RamZ and Rec Blue threw a quality contest with RamZ winning the game 5-2. This was in spite of the Blue throwing 15 tons to 6. Vince Leslie was very impressive for the Ram with a 110 peg out.
In the final match the Top Pub Guinness beat the Courthouse 7-0 but the Courthouse played better than the score indicated. Dennis Watson was on fire for the Guinness and threw a 14 dart 501 game. Bronte was impressive for the Courty hitting a 135.
And so the competition is now heading towards the grading stage as we venture into the cold dark winter nights. It’s perfect weather for playing darts.
The draw for tonight’s round looks this way with the home sides first:
- Mad RamZ v Top Pub Guinness
- Top Pub Leprechauns v Ex-Services 26’s
- Top Pub Shamrocks v Rec Gold
- Top Pub Jameson’s v Top Pub Shenanigans
- RSL v Top Pub FitzRyans
- Top Pub Whisky Business v RamZ
- Rec Blue v Courthouse
See you at the boards for another great night of darts.
