In very challenging windy conditions on a good green, the Boorowa boys won the contest by three shots overall.
Chris Grimson won his rink 27-17, Des Grimson lost his rink 12-15 and Daryl Murphy also lost his 17-21.
Chris by winning with a margin of 10 covered the other teams total losses of 7.
The overall win was 56-53 to Boorowa Ex-Services.
At Thursday’s social bowls the winner was John Dymock.
