Members of the club are organising an evening focused on Tanzania and a key event during the evening will be a Skype link with Elizabeth Walsh, who is working in Tanzania.
Elizabeth is the daughter of local identities Cathy and Roley Walsh.
Elizabeth has accepted an invitation to work at a newly established hospital for women. Through the use of Skype, Elizabeth will be guest of honour during the evening.
The evening, while under the Rotary umbrella, is open to anyone who would like to attend, sample Tanzanian food or learn a little Swahili.
If you would like information about the evening contact a Rotarian by Saturday, March 10.
Boorowa Rotary Club would love to share this cultural experience with local residents.
It is not often that a town can be proud of a local contributing to the development of services in an African country as Elizabeth is doing.
