The Lachlan Valley Way between Cowra and Boorowa has been re-open. Please take note of any temporary speed zones that remain in place.

This is the latest from Live Traffic:
“If you're travelling north, you'll be diverted onto Murringo Road from Boorowa to Murringo and Young, then the Olympic Highway to Cowra. The southbound diversion is the same in reverse.
“This will add around 40 minutes extra travel time to your trip and is suitable for all vehicles.”
UPDATE 10.30am, February 15
This is the latest from Hilltops Council:
“An important message for those planning on travelling between Boorowa and Cowra on the Lachlan Valley Way [LVW] today.
“The recovery of the truck and trailer that rolled over near Breakfast Creek yesterday continues today.
“In order to safely remove the truck, the road will be under stop and go traffic control from 11am onwards.
“At approximately midday today the road will be closed (at the intersection of the Murringo Road and the LVW at Boorowa, and at Legh St in Cowra).
Diversions will be in place and traffic will have to detour via Young along the Murringo Road and Olympic Highway.
This closure will be in place for approximately two hours.

This is the latest from Hilltops Council:
“If you or someone you know is travelling between Boorowa and Cowra on the Lachlan Valley Way this afternoon, be advised there's been a truck accident, approx. 40kms north of Boorowa.
“The north-bound lane is partially blocked, with traffic control currently in place.
“In order to clear the road, that section will be temporarily blocked (both lanes) for a period of time shortly after 4:30pm.
“Traffic control will be in place, so please add extra travel time to your journey this evening.

Emergency services are on the scene of a truck that has turned over near Godfrey’s Creek, approximately 40kms north of Boorowa.
According to the Rural Fire Service, the truck is located near Breakfast Creek, just south of the Kenyu Road turnoff on the Boorowa Road.
Traffic is reportedly being directed and motorists are advised to take caution.
