Principal Brendan Maynard said the students started on January 30.
“It was fantastic, their first day of school was a sports day, which was exciting, they’ve made new friends,” he said.
“The mums and dads enjoyed a nice cup of tea after dropping their kids off so it was a special first day for them.”
Already the new students have been busy making friends, took part in the swimming carnival and have been shown the ropes by the older students.
“The Year 6 students are buddied with each of the kindies,” Mr Maynard said.
The school is now preparing for Opening Mass on Saturday, February 10, to welcome all new and returning students and families.
