Earlier in the year Rebecca, along with her crown as Miss Showgirl, teamed up with her trusty steed Max and took out Champion in the Local and Open Pony Club rider at the Boorowa Show.
This success continued as she achieved Age Champion in Pony Club’s Zone 2 Gymkhana held in Gundagai.
In July the pair qualified for the PCANSW State Championships in Tamworth where the best riders in the State spend a week testing their abilities in Dressage and Jumping equitation.
Rebecca and Max made their club and zone very proud by coming 3rd out of 30 competitors in Dressage whilst the pair came 8th out of 36 competitors in the Jumping Equitation.
To finish off a fantastic year the pair participated in the State One Day Event held in Harden.
Eventing is an equestrian event comprising of Dressage, Cross Country and Showjumping.
In a strong field of riders Rebecca was awarded 1st in her Age at these State Championships.
In addition to all these riding accomplishments Rebecca has completed her NCAS Instruction Certificate this year and has taken on the role as co-instructor at our club.
On behalf of the Club’s committee and members I would like to congratulate Rebecca on all her achievements in 2017 and thank her for the guidance as well as support she has given our younger riders throughout the year.
