Breakfast is available from 8am with the Australia Day Ceremony at 9.30am.
We will welcome Susie Elelman AM who will help us acknowledge the efforts of some very inspiring Boorowa citizens.
Plenty for the kids with the popular fishing competition, face painting and jumping castle to keep them amused.
Entry to the pool is free all day.
For everyone, bowls at the Ex-Services Club at 1pm, golf at 5pm and the ever popular Balladeers at the Recreation Club at 4pm.
Whatever you do, enjoy the day – have a good one.

Can you believe the depths some politicians will stoop to in order to gain political mileage.
Richard Di Natale, the leader of the Greens, is advocating for a change of date for Australia Day.
He should get short shift and someone should tell him that at the moment this nation faces greater concerns than changing the date of Australia Day.
Actually, tell him to take a good look at his priorities.

Heaven help me!
I hope I heard wrong, but did a NSW Labor spokesperson say he wants to abolish fixed and speed cameras, labelling them ‘cash cows’.
Can you imagine saying something like that when we need to address the carnage on our roads.
Idiot drivers need to be caught and put off our roads and cameras play their part.
I mean to say that the cameras are government ‘cash cows’ is ridiculous.
If every driver drove to the law with care and courtesy, how much revenue would the cameras rake in?
Not hard to work that out – nil, zero, nought, $0.

It’s not all doom and gloom.
Have you heard of the Magic Bank Account?
Imagine, you win a prize that will deposit $86,400 in your private account daily.
Rules do apply. All must be spent and any not so will be taken from you.
You may not transfer money into some other account.
Each morning upon awakening the bank opens your account with another $86400.
The bank can also end the game without warning – game over.
This game is actually real, with each of us a winner. The prize is time.
Each morning we wake to receive 86400 seconds as a gift of life.
When you go to sleep at night, time remaining is not credited to us, what we haven’t used is lost forever.
Yesterday is forever gone, but each morning your account is refilled – but can be gone in an instant.
The question is, what will you do with your 86400 seconds? Definitely worth much more than the same amount in dollars.
Remember to enjoy every second because time flies.
Be happy, love deeply and enjoy life to the fullest. Start spending. Don’t complain about growing old - not everyone enjoys that privilege.

The ‘Change Australia Day reformers’ don’t seem to want to go away. The question is can they come up with a viable alternative date. It seems not.
I heard a chap on talkback radio the other day, now he did have an alternative to make everyone happy. He suggested we adopt the day Australia becomes a republic would be ideal … providing we become a republic on January 26.
Take heed reformers:
“Every man is a reformer, until reform tramps on his toes.” (Edgar Watson Howe)
