Have your say: Letters to the Editor

One reader is upset about the removal of poppies and wreaths from the Boorowa War Memorial.

I am totally disgusted. Who is responsible for taking down wreaths and poppies from the Boorowa War Memorial, the Boorowa RSL sub Branch or the Hilltops Council?

There has been a wreath and artificial poppies on the front of the War Memorial since Remembrance Day.

Is this a sign of things to come from the joint amalgamation or the lack of pride from the Boorowa RSL sub Branch?

This is not the first time that wreaths have been left on the War Memorial for weeks after they were laid.

Surely there should be some respect for the departed and those who have served.

This would not be a hard thing to achieve.
