May we take this opportunity to commend the students, their families and the school on the level of presentation of each student for the purpose of interview.
Without a doubt, the students presented as articulate, committed and confident.
In their approach to the interview process, their manner was a credit to all involved in their preparation.
While the Rotary Club of Boorowa has an association with Boorowa Central School and has previously awarded a scholarship, this was the first time that the students faced a panel of Rotarians without the presence of a teacher in recent history.
The school staff was outstanding in the way it supported Boorowa Rotary Club in the lead up to and on the day of interviews.
Without the commitment of the school executive, office staff and teachers, the process would have been far more onerous for the students, the panel and organisers.
It was an honour to work with the students and the school on behalf of the Rotary Club of Boorowa.
We hope that next year we will be able to again promote Youth Activities such as this and the Youth Trivia Night, as part of the service that the Rotary Club of Boorowa provides for the community.

Work needed on local road
We would like to add a section of road, on the Frogmore Rd, to the list of areas which need attention.
There is a series of narrow, rough-edged “S” bends which need widening and re-sheeting approximately seven kilometres from the Wyangala Rd T-inersection.
have been a number of accidents on this section
