The Boorowa region has recorded 84.6mm of rain in the first week of December alone, with 46.6mm falling on Saturday and 37.8mm recorded on Sunday. Cooma received 50mm, Goulburn 21mm while Yass copped a huge 82mm.
A number of roads, including Brial Road at the Boorowa River, Bennett Springs Road and the Brial Street causeway below the Town Clock were closed due to flooding but have since reopened. As of Tuesday, December 5 at 12.50pm, Scott Street at the Boorowa River remains closed.
