It was a fantastic day for all involved with some very impressive results.
Our swimmers started the day with the 50m backstroke.
Kirsten Piper had an amazing race smashing a massive 30 seconds off her qualifying time.
Noah Coble beat his personal best by 9 seconds, Jacob Piper by 7 seconds, Tamsyn Ritchie by 5 seconds and Rory Corkery by 3 seconds.
It was great start to the day.
Mackella Pye and Archie Coble both bought home 3rd place medals to add to a growing collection.
In other results, Stephanie Piper took 3 seconds off her 50m breaststroke time and Imogen Pye took 11 seconds off her 50m butterfly time.
Peter Roberts got a third place ribbon in the backstroke at his first ever carnival, while big sister Julia swam with a big smile on her face and did not give up in any of her races.
Adam Hinds made a long awaited return to the pool after injury and is looking to have a positive season ahead of him.
Isabella Piper also had a very busy day and came home with a first place ribbon for her efforts.
To top off the day, Adam, Jacob, Noah and Rory put up a great fight in the Burgess Shield Relay, nudging out Tumut, Cootamundra and Temora to bring home 2nd place behind the Young team who had a the home pool advantage.
Next weekend, the Piper family is off to Tumut and we wish Jacob, Stephanie, Isabella and Kirsten all the very best for their races.
Looking forward to hearing all about your great results.
