For the second consecutive weekend, neither Boorowa senior cricket team bowled a ball in anger as the Crocs had a bye whilst the Gators won by forfeit.

The Gators had their strongest line up of the season selected but it wasn’t to be as the Aussie Hotel Pirates were unable to field a side.
Perhaps the Pirates may still have been having nightmares of their trip to Boorowa just two weeks ago when the Crocs beat them by eight wickets.
This weekend the unbeaten Gators are at home again and will take on Murrumbateman who on their day can prove to be a tough opposition.
Meanwhile the Crocs will travel to O’Connor Park in Yass to take on the winless Yass Golf Club Taipans.
The Crocs will be keen to maintain their unbeaten run and won’t take the Taipans lightly.
The bad news is that both teams may well be facing another wash out if the weather predictions stay true to form.
On the international front, England were brave for the first three days of the first test and if not for the resilience of Steve Smith, the game may well have seen a much closer outcome. Shaun Marsh justified his selection much to the relief of the selectors as did Cameron Bancroft.
The English bowling attack lacked penetration in the second dig and Ben Stokes may well be packing his kit for England in preparation for the third test.
The day night second test in Adelaide this weekend may well help the English seamers but on the other side of the ledger, the England batsmen will have to counteract the pace of Cummings and Starc under lights.
Don’t bother scheduling your TV viewing on day four of this game. Unless weather intervenes, it’s very unlikely this test will go past three days.
See you all at Bay 13 on Saturday to watch the Gators go around.
