It was a great day to catch up and enjoy the company. The addition of quite a few sweeps, a Melbourne Cup trivia questionnaire and a Fashions in the Field display all added to the enjoyment.
The winner of the Lucky Door Prize was Marg Berry, Kate Glover won the raffle, most interesting shoes for her moonboot went to Ingrid Corcoran and best dressed went to Barbara Manion.
Over four thousand dollars has now been added to the Auxiliary’s funds and we thank the Boorowa community for their generous donations of food, flowers, prizes and organisation of all the sweeps under Helen McGrath.
This money will be put towards the purchase of new state of the art beds for the Emergency Department and other items which have been requested by the hospital staff.
Thank you to the guests for their support and all those who provided food for the lunch, a lot of non-Auxiliary members prepared a salad or dessert for the day.
